Welcome to the very exclusive Turbo club. As Frenchy said amazing cars in every way. Rapid sports car and great GT cruiser with luggage space to boot and room for the kids. Enjoy it as much as you can before the roads get greasy and you find out exactly what can happen when the boost arrives half way round a roundabout [&:] As also siad some pics please and then some mods. Go on you know you want to [:)]

Hi

Thanks for all the information posted reference 944 Turbos.

I have just purchased Steve Simkins 944 Turbo and have driven it back to the sunny south. Thanks for your help in the purchase of your car. The car performed really well on the 500 miles back down and my wife loves it.

Thanks to Alasdair for looking at the car for me and giving it a good bill of health.

Nick, Looks like the collection is complete now, great stable, is the Turbo standard ? if not get it to stage 1, big silly grins guaranteed [:D]

Frenchy, the car was previously modified by RPM Technik within the last 2-3 years to 307bhp with dyno to prove! It was quick enough for me but having heard about some other cars Nick has driven, I'm sure Nick won't be shy going for more power if he thinks he needs it. Nick, glad you had a comfortable & safe drive home. I'll email you about a couple of bits & bobs.

Steve, 300 is about right, even that figure has to be shown respect to keep it shiny side up, full on with the resto now ? i noticed the aluminium secondary (sump) undertray in the back of your car at Alasdairs, i am looking for one of these, if you come aross one up there put it to one side for me. Nick you have a nice car there in a lovely colour, look after it, good un's are thinning out.

Yes, I hope so but if the weather is like last winter I doubt I'll be persuading Al to open the garage to work on it! I will keep an eye out for an under tray - to be honest, so many things have come off the car so far I've just relied on Alasdair keeping it all safe for me and I couldn't even have told you it was in the car. Cheers Frenchy.

Welcome to the club Nick! I learnt about boost, grip and roundabouts 2 weeks into ownership....nothing hurt except my pride luckily! 2 new rear tyres were bought immediately following...

Hello Nick. It is Titanium metallic (Z6). I think it is LY7P but it will be on the sticker in the service book (which I think is there) or the one on the inside of boot (behind the carpet) which I definitely remember seeing.

Welcome to 944 ownership. That is a really nice car (even although it's a turbo) and I am sure stevie will be sad to see it go. Now come on stevie get the welder out and start fixing your other turbo.

Nick, I hope you don't mind but I'm posting a photo of your car that I took when in my ownership in the event that someone else may be able to confirm (for sure) the paint code in case you can't see it on the paperwork/stickers.
