One must assume he broke the rear window and this was the cheaper option!!
Rear hatches can easily be had for next to no money. I think this was quite deliberate! [&o]

ALSO TURNS HEADS BEING A ONE OFF CAR / PICK UP.....
I presume that's so people can be discretely sick in the gutter without offending others. Abomination.

Its just wrong... ! There is some difference between that ustter abomination and the orange cab at the RAC which was really nicely done !
That is just a bodge job ! That poor Lux .. I just want to cry or puke or both... [
I phoned my insurance for a laugh and got "Im sorry it has to go through an assesment to calculate the risk as its too heavily modifed" You all know what that means ! No insurer will touch that with a barge pole

Soon, James will discover the vile yellow 944/968 and link to that too! []
Was that the yellow 944 that was on AutoTrader recently?
I had a friend go out and check it over, said there was nasty clunking noises coming from the gearbox when changing gears and wisely walked away.
As for this damn pickup abomination - this is probably the most pointless and horrible conversion I've ever seen to a 944 - from one of those pictures taken high up above it... it does kinda look OK but then from the rear and side, and then close up of where the boot was ... oh my god. Dreadful, and poorly done too. Even those decal's on the back... what the hell is that horrible font? UGHHH.
It's in Mansfiel not too far from me, I could go out and waste this guys time for a bit [

Loving the interesting textures he has achieved in the load bay area with the GRP. []
That's the best bit. I think the fact that it's quite clearly sagged is a lovely feature too.

Yes its still for sale, find it "funny" (dont know if thats quite the right word to use,) how it was originaly on for £5000 with a very enthusiastic advert stating "dailylight robbery at this price", then relisted at £3500 and now its on for £1500,
Huge reduction in price.....what a bargain[]
£5000 - How much it cost him to build + a bit
£3500 - Balance of his credit card
£1500 - Soon to be a 99p starting bid auction?
