looks like it has a glass sunroof
It would cost you atleast another 2-3K to get this car road worthy.Would need belts, fluids, prob an engine rebuild if it has sat that long.all the hoses will be brittle shocks tyres etc will need done also all rubbery bits will need doing. It could be a nightmare but would be better in a museum.
Smells a bit fishy to me. Clearly sold as something to be laid up and wait for the price to appreciate, but then why is it photographed parked outside on wet concrete?
82 miles and no numberplate. Has it been registered? What's it's history up until now?
Whizz-bang tailgate - lovely! Where are the pictures of it? (I hope it's not just a bridge spoiler.)
If it is a one-off prototype, where has it spent the last 20-odd years? Why is it not in the Porsche museum - why is it mouldering away with a second-hand car dealer in Newcastle-under-Lyme who it trying to punt it off on eBay?
The ad raises more questions than it answers. Interesting, for sure, but a smidge fishy as well.

Ed are these to be made in the uk? I could be up for one at the money they are predicting, isnt that about £180?
From what I read, no - but I know next to nothing about this - just happened to stumble across it yesterday

I agree, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, even at half that price

[Why buy from us?
All our cars are sold for less than the recommended retail price.
The price certainainly seems 'optimistic'. Especially as I would consider that a poor advert even for a £2500 944
Someone's been reading this thread. They've changed the piccie on the advert. Teledials, and that 'one-off hatch lid' looks less than delightful.

Quite agree about the paucity of the advert. The fact that they removed the first picture when they put up the second suggests that either they don't know how to use eBay or they are bordering on inept. Impressive? Certainly not.
