944 exhaust

I currently have a quite loud exhaust system on my 944 which i am getting rid of as its hurts my head!
It ill be up for sale soon and is almost brand new ( don't know details but will post)
I have been offered a 2.7 system numbered Germany944. 111.041.03 BISCHOFF and Germany944.111.082.05 BISCHOFF.
Does anyone know if this will fit a normally aspirated 2.5 1986 car?
thanks

steve

How loud is loud, and is it the original system? The 2.7 system that you have been offered is similar to that on an S2 which has more silencers than a 2.5. Whilst I am sure it will fit, it may end up being quieter than a 'normal' 2.5. The 2.5 and 2.7 only had the baffled rear box and extra centre box in the rear section to quieten things down (on 2.5 systems, S2s geting a little noisier).
