Ok I need to establish whether we have enough interested parties to take part in a late spring driving weekend to either Wales or the Lakes? I can then look at accommodation and and give and idea on price before collecting deposits. Dates are probably going to be May/June.

If you are interested add your name and whether you prefer Wales or the Lakes below. If we dont get enough we can look at what else people would like to do for the event.

Ok Wales it is, its the more central of the two, the roads are some of the best in the UK and will also probably be quieter at this time of year.

I think two nights would suffice, staying in country pub b&b's near the Brecons or Snowdonia (cheapish but with pub grub and real ales) for easy access to the Black Mountain, etc. Travel up Friday night for late dinner and then whole day driving/visiting local sites Saturday. Second night at another pub with more driving on Sunday and perhaps a pub Sunday roast somewhere before drive home.

Sound ok? I'm going to do some research on best driving routes, etc but if you know of any in the area please let me know.

I currently looking at 12-13th May, 2-3rd June or 9-10th June, anything after 20th June is going to be too close to LMC for me. July, August and September are also out for me as all my annual leave is canceled for the Olympics.[:mad:]

I'll be in Anglesey in late May - with any luck it will be the S2's first track day

This thread is making my head hurt, and I came across the ideal way of scheduling things the other day - called Doodle.

Here's a Doodle link; follow it and fill in the dates you can manage. (I can only put one date in for each option, so I have put in the Saturday date - hence they appear as 12th May, 2nd June, 9th June. It'll make the organising much easier.

ETA: It may be an idea to post back on here once you have completed the poll. Also, I've noticed that the weekend of the 2nd June is the Jubilee Weekend, which may affect people's plans.

We could be interested in this event.
The Groes Inn near Conwy comes highly recommended. (See page 46 of February's PP), but we would be happy to go along with the majority.
The roads in North Wales are fantastic and of course there is the EVO triangle, which is a must if you go to Wales, but again we would be happy with a different area.
Any of the dates would be fine for us.

Biggest decision......Which 944 shall we bring ?

It's very easy, and quicker than writing a post on this thread. And it will make Edd's job (group organiser) a million times easier. Thus far, there are four people who have done so - Edd, McNulters, Joss and me.
