The door edge lights for the 928 can cost up to £60 each! However, usually it is as a result of water ingress in the door that the contacts and bulbs corrode. Pop out the light and examine. If this is the case, the bulb fitting can be removed from the lens and the corroded wires cut. Clean the lens, and obtain capless bulb holders as shown from auction site, splice and solder to original wiring and insert W5W capless bulbs. A little bit of time and a total expenditure of approximately £5 instead of £120!
