924S For sale??

Can't decide what to do.... We have a 'D' reg 924 S with 133K on the clock. It has been in the family since I bought it about 9 years ago. It has alwys been well looked after and is in generally good condition. However the clutch needs to be replaced, it still drives but the rubber centre is breaking up, causing backlash, estimated cost of repair £700.
Now the question, is the car worth it? What might it be worth as is? - or with the clutch done?
 
Well it should be worth appreciably more than £700 by the time it's fixed, unless it's a real heap. On that basis, if you can afford to pay out first for the repairs it's worth doing.

Prices are difficult to estimate, but any reasonable 924S should fetch £1500 upwards, unless there's a lot of other stuff needed (like a good service and a few repairs, tyres, badly worn interior etc - they will affect something of this value)

Otherwise I'm sure someone will be interested without it being fixed. If it drives you can a tleast demnonstrate to an interested buyer that it all works. Try that, but if you don't get interest, or only very low offers, then get it repaired. It'll be worth something either way.
