Save Donington Event at Donington Circuit on March 7th

Please see the Save Donington Thread in General Discussion (linked below) and put your name on the list.
What better excuse is there to get the car out when Spring arrives and meet-up for a chat with like-minded owners?

There'll be lots going on, loads of other car and bike clubs, Grand Prix Collection Museum open, autojumble... :p

I plan to attend.
It's not an Official PCGB event.

Any other 924 owners planning to be there?

Sounds slightly chaotic but exciting! [:)]

Thanks for the support Paul!

[:D] I know. The organisers have been drip-feeding me information as and when things are decided upon. The organisation and marshalling is entirely voluntary and I think they should be applauded for what they have achieved so far. I believe up to 10,000 people have expressed an interest in being there. Hopefully the day will be a great success. [;)]

Don't know if you're aware of the recent breakaway from the 924 owners club, but a small band of us who felt the club wasn't what it used to be have gone off on our own.
At least 5 of us will be attending in 924's, 3 "S" & 2 n/a so far, so there will be a good 924 turn out

Well there are more than 40 of us heading down to Donington in various Porsche cars on the 7th.

Everyone is of course welcome at this non PCGB event, even subversive 924 Owners Club breakaway members [;)]
We plan to set up camp and use a ring of Boxsters as a line of defense.

Bring food, water, chairs, portacabins, guitars and bouncy castles. (but not all at once) [:D]
