Great car - but you couldn't actually use it...unlike a CGT which is still relatively cheap in comparison

Ricky Caesar does..

Good point.

With a 12k mile GTS? I'm all for cars being used, and once you get past a certain mileage then it doesn't matter so much. I still can't see you'd want to do many miles on a car like this. (Mind you I think I will struggle to do more than a couple of thousand miles in my Boxster this year, which seems a shame)

Recaro lollipops always look terrible now though so this is smarter in every respect (apart from the wet sump).

Unless you treat them to a re-trim [:)]

Very nice GTS though - particularly as it has avoided restoration. It featured as part of a 911+PW article several months back.

The cleanest example I have seen was for sale in the US a few years back

Do you know I dont really include those hulking great cayennes or the Panamera when I think of sports-cars; perhaps I should get out more, but a good point well made. I think I was just giving a heads up regarding the 944 reg appearing elitist.

Has anyone noticed the fuel metereing unit from an eight cylinder merc under the bonnet, and just behind the badge panel the little two into one siamese fittings to supply the injectors?

I was under the impression that it was off a 928? Of course, they may both use the same Bosch part.

Those leather lollipops are lovely: is that your car Jon? Ive never seen original Recaros in as good a condition as they are in the second image.

Anyone want to buy a couple of my vital organs? I need funds to buy and recover a pair of lollipops for my car with immediate effect [:)]

Never seen this done before and I am in love!!
