Hello,

I have the chance of buying a 1967 RHD 912. I'm going to see the car on Friday so don't have many details on it as yet. The car has all matching numbers and original log book with lots of history. It has had a documented engine rebuild circa 2002/03 and a complete bare metal respray with new floor panels and new chrome work in the past 3 years. It has done approx 109,000 miles. This is all the info I have at the moment but I was wondering if anybody had an idea of a ballpark value of the car?

Many thanks.

I'm now totaly out of touch with prices.

Gavin at 912register.co.uk and that is not me trying to poach you I am answering your question ( trying to ) has a value page on the web site which gives and idea of prices for 2013

The whole RHD LHD has been done to death, but I guess there is some extra value for a RHD car only because of the small numbers. So there is I guess a price increase though supply and demand.

If the RHD car does not float your boat I would give a LHD car a chance. I have to say I was against LHD car at first till I drove one and then it made sence. More choice being one and you can't over take much in the UK anyway now adays. I now prefure my LHD 912's over my others I have 5 LHD cars now and 5 RHD so I am easy to which way now.

Just check for usual rust more so on a RHD car. A resto is good but just look to see if a resto is a resto or a refresher..

two very different cars..

Anyway good luck great cars I have to say I love mine I have 3 now. Sold one last year as more into other things now adays. Terrible really 3 cars have just sat there for 5 years plus lack of interest.
