912 immobilisor + keyless entry?

Hi Guys

I have to fit an immobiliser to my 1966 912 for insurance reasons.

Now here is my dilema, I am going to fir the transponder type so there is not extra key pads on the dash.

Question. Do I fit central locking at the same time and if so do i go go for keyless entry at the same time.

Not sure whether to just do the immobiliser and leave everything else as god intended.

I would say keep the drain on your battery as light as possible, central locking sounds a step too far! [] however convenient it may sound, I won't even mention the extra weight!
Our generators have enough trouble coping with lights and windscreen wipers if you ask me.

The battery must be really lightweight if it can't cope with the occasional pulse needed to operate the lock/unlock solenoids a few times a day.

It's not so much the battery as the Generator.
I have seen many 12's with dicky Generators which have a hard time keeping the battery healthy, that coupled with the lack of driving many cars see doesn't make for an ideal situation, my preference is to load the system with as little as possible. I for instance found the alarm would soon flatten the battery before I had my generator replaced.
