911 wheel reburbishment

I am planning on having the 4 wheels (19" lobster claw, silver) on my Carrera 2S reburbished. The original coating is flaking / blistering in various areas of the wheel surfaces. I have contacted some companies in my area (central Scotland) who provide a wheel refurb. service. I would appreciate any advice on this before taking the plunge including recommneded companies from your experience and the expected longevity of any refurb. One of the recommended companies does not offer any guarantee and have stated that a small % of customers have to have the work re-done after approx. 1 year due to corrosion. The 'Wheel Specialists in Cumbernauld believe the wheels are 'diamond cut' - I assume this is the standard finish as they are original. Comments and wise council appreciated.

I may be wrong but do not think LC are DC .The wheel specialists in E-K have been used by several owners and also sub out the DC side to the previous owner who owned the company also a Porsche owner .
No doubt others will be along and add their recommendations .As you are new owner are you aware of the Porsche event that is taking place on 24th June at Knochhill see the full post in the Scottish forum section .

I've used Covanhill Powder Coaters, located between Carluke and Forth, for the Porsche alloys and my BMW wheels as well as some other parts.

My my experience is that the quality is very good and a friendly and quick service is provided.
 
Powdertech at Kinning Park do all of OPC Glasgow wheels, finish is good, last set I had done there was £280. (Cayenne alloys)

Jaqs Body Shop East Kilbride do wheels also, they take the tyres off, have them dipped, repaired and then primed in powder coating, they are then hand finished and sprayed and lacquered, £300 ish, they just did my Scuderia alloys and they are prefect,

also tried the wheel station in london road, bunch of cowboys, wheels were gt3 mk1, finish poor and when challenged them was threatened with a tyre leaver and told to F*** off, £250 including splitting the rims, never again,

you get what you pay for in life,
