911 Turbo Register Display at Silverstone Classic

As you will know, the Porsche Club GB National Event this year will be held at the Silverstone Classic meeting ( Friday July 25th - Sunday July 27th ).
I have asked for 20 spaces to be allocated to the 911 Turbo Register Display, and I therefore need to know the names of owners, details of cars, and days availability.
Please note that this display is primarily for 930, 964 and 993 turbo variants - the water cooled brigade apparently decided that they would prefer to stay within their contemporary 996 and 997 grouping.
For those of you who have done this before ( at Brands Hatch ), I'll give preference to those cars that are available for all 3 days..... and please bear in mind that this means being in place by 09.30 and not expecting to depart before 17.00.
However, given that the first day is a Friday, I have every reason to suppose that far and away the majority of people will be there on the Saturday and / or Sunday - so cars that are available for display on both Saturday and Sunday will be next in the pecking order.
Having said that, I've always done my best to accomodate those Register members who wish to display their cars at these events, so if you have a particularly fine ( or rare ) example, please let me know.
Please note that there are no additional discounted / free tickets as a consequence of making your car available - the Club already has a discount ticket deal in place with Silverstone Circuit which caters for display cars ( see details either in Porsche Post or elsewhere on the Forum ).
Thanks in anticipation
John

John

Thanks for organising this.

I'm planning to be on site for all of Saturday and Sunday, and happy to display the 964 turbo 3.6 for one or both days. I don't think I can make Friday too, but will try....[8|]

John
I have my ticket for Friday through Sunday so happy to volunteer.

One question I had was are you looking for the cars to be inpalce for all 3 days as I can use my other one to go back and forth as I'm not that far away.

Mike: thanks for offering a real rarity - gratefully accepted.
Gordon: Silverstone have their own security for the entire event, and I believe that PCGB are doing something specific about security on their own pitch, so leaving the car there for the duration shouldn't be a problem.
Maurice: you always have plenty of 993s - don't begrudge me the odd few!
Cheers
John

Hi John

Im coming down from Scotland, have my Weekend Tickets booked.

I have a 1997 993 Turbo 4 in Pastel Yellow, factory supplied with TurboS spoilers

and 18" Classic Crosspoke Wheels, complimented by Black Leather interior.

The Car has only covered 9K miles so can only be described as New.

It would be available all Weekend if you want it..

Cheers Al

(White 89 Turbo LE)

Just been offered Brian Farminer's 930 for the Saturday and Sunday - so slowly getting there.
Please try not to leave it until the last minute before committing - that's a trait that our new Register Director finds frustrating .... and he's the organising force!
Thanks
John

John, can you publish a list of the cars you want to display, each day of the event, so that we know if we are wanted on the stand?

...according to Silverstone, they won't issue the tickets until they are told by PCGB which cars are to be displayed, on which days, so they can get the car park stickers right. Hopefully by the beginning of next week?
