Dear Members - R3 has again been asked to Croft for this year's Smiles for Miles in support of the JPC Community Farm Charity on 26 August. Displaying your vehicle (including driver access is free) and each additional passenger ticket is £7:50, if you wish to display you must be on display for 08:45 and remain on site until 16:30 - R3 Members will display next to Porsche Centre Teesside.

You can also get access to the track for free by volunteering passenger rides (Passenger Dream Experiences) in your car to raise money for the charity (there is a 70mph speed restriction) - some helmets are available but if you have your own please bring it along.

Registration for the Display and Passenger Dream Experiences, and to buy additional tickets, is through JPC Specialist Motorsports website: https://www.jpcspecialistmotorsports.com/.

If you intend to display please also let us know by replying to this thread so that we can judge interest - if there are sufficient numbers we will setup a gazebo [:)].

Thanks - Philip and Jacquie

If the weather is as good as last year it is a nice day out in the sun with cars, count us in for displaying with the Boxster.

Mike and Barbara.

Unfortunately this clashes with Silverstone so I cannot attend. It was a great event last year.

John

Morning Philip and Jacquie, I've registered to display the car on the static display and have booked the passenger ticket, thanks Jim

Evening Philip and Jacquie, I've registered to display and partake in the passenger rides and am just waiting for the reply before i book the additional ticket for my better half, cheers Paul

Hi Paul

You won’t get a reply. You can book the passenger ticket if you wish to.

Kind regards

Jacquie & Philip

Thank you to those who have bought tickets to this event.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and let's hope the R3 sun gods play ball!

Kind regards

Jacquie & Philip

Please count me in to be put on display for the day.
Hi Adam, I guess you have registered with JPC as well?

All: Are we all attempting to arrive together, as requested, (not so easy as we are likely to approach from opposite directions) or are we safe enough being next to Porsche Teesside?

Gordon.

Hi all, a change of schedule allows me to join you tomorrow. Registered with JPC and received confirmation. Fingers crossed the sun shines 🤞

Wheels and tyres changed, levels & pressures checked, helmet and gear stowed - all ready to go and ClassicLine have just told me that I am not insured as it is not a PCGB organised event.

I realise that it should be a straightforward event but I am not comfortable doing it without cover.

*x#+*!

Hopefully you can still come along as part of the display.

As we are coming from various directions no plans have been made to arrive together and as long as you have informed us you’re part of the display you’ll be fine and should be directed to park next to Teesside. As we have to be on site by 08.45 we should be arriving more or less together.

Regards

Philip & Jacquie
