25th August - 944 day & evening trip in Scotland

So we have a date, a meet up and set off time, a destination and available accomodation in Uig, Skye. Just need final numbers by say Friday so accomodation can be booked.

Anyone else fancy it? Post up if you do.

Alan.

Another option for those not wanting to do an overnight trip, we will probably be stopping for lunch around Fort William?, So you could meet up Saturday morning, have a run up to Fort William, have lunch with us and head home after lunch.

Just an idea, does that suit anyone?

Alan.

Accomodation booked for the trip this morning for everyone, still some spaces if you want to go.

cant make the whole weekend as got a really busy month, tell me where your turning off A82 for Skye and will see if i can meet you there and run out to Klye with you before heading back to Inverness via Plockton and Garve that a really nice road.

Alternative I could meet you in Fort William as my wife lives there, you pass hers on the way in.

Steve, we may be meeting up for a late lunch with Steve from Carlisle as he is up there on holiday. I will give you a ring and let you know when we will be there.

Sorry Guys, but I can no longer make this as I will be flying out to Lanzarote on Thursday and won't be back until Monday. I am gutted as was really looking forward to it.

Hope it goes well, Alan.

Looks like my car won't be ready either due to machine shop and valve guide issues!
