Hi All

Just to let you all know how the day went.

Lots of nice comments received from members today about the event and venue.

Thanks to all the members who let us know that they were unable to attend, fortunately their tickets were reallocated.

Overall, we had a total of 105 cars which was bit down, and there were some who would have gladly filled the missing slots.

Members travelled from far and wide to attend, two from Scotland, covering 309 and 389 miles respectively. The overall winner for the furthest distance travelled was Pierre from France,

with a distance of 412 miles.

Thanks to all who came and made it such a pleasant event.

Kind regards

Andy

Thanks Andy Very enjoyable day and good to see so many 996. We had a really nice drive through the Cotswolds on the way home in the afternoon sunshine.

Ian & Maria

we appreciated as much visiting for the first time the museum as seing so many beautiful exemples of my favourite 911 ever !

Thanks a lot!

Can't wait drinking a fine ale in those beautiful glasses!...and coming back soon.

Cheers,

Pierre.

Many thanks Andy and to everyone involved in putting together such a wonderful 996 anniversary event. It really was great to catch up with so many Club friends and of course some of our excellent Cornbury House dream team in such awesome surroundings.

As these events all to often look so seamless on the day its really easy to forget just how much effort goes into not just coordinating, but how much planning of an event of this nature actually takes from the outset; organising tickets, right through to packing up at the end of the day, so hats off to you all, you did an outstanding job creating an enjoyable and very memorable 996 anniversary experience for everyone who took part.

Was a great event and awesome to see such a wide selection of 996s. Thanks Andy (and wider team) for organising it!

Hi,

Was a good event, well organised. Nice to see a few other Targa's there too :).
