Hi guys
On start up Macan S reports a warning about right and left rear lights. On checking it seems the side lights are fine but no light from the light bar. Naturally there are now LCD's in use and the manual says refer to an accredited Porsche service agent for repair.
A swift conversation with the OPC, where i said I thought the issue was a leaky light bar and the dampness had caused LCD failure. This elicited a quote for £1300 for a new light bar. I looked at Design911 and they have them for £750 odd quid. This all seems an incredible sledge hammer to crack a nut. Has anyone else experienced this and have an alternative solution?
I must admit I find it very frustrating that basically a bit of design embellishment should a) fail and b) cost a small fortune to correct
Regards
Mark
