2015 Cayman GTS - PCM3.1

Hi All,

First post and I'm looking for some help, I am looking for a company / person to update my PCM to the 3.1 version, I've found loads of places in England but can't find anywhere is Scotland that does this upgrade. I'd appreciate some guidance and information from anyone who knows of a company or person who can supply & fit this.

Hi Davie. Welcome to the forum.

I am sorry but I have no direct answer to your question. I take it you currently have the 3.0 version. I wondered what features you were looking for and whether the 3.1 will make a significant difference?

Doesn't a 2015 981 GTS have PCM 3.1 as standard? My 2013 and 2016 981 have both had PCM 3.1.
 
Yup - a 2015 981 GTS will have PCM 3.1 fitted (unless it has CDR31 which is the base audio, non-nav alternative). Maybe check the spec or post a photo of your head unit showing the controls/buttons and markings clearly.

Sorry guys, Maybe my poor grammar here, I'm looking to upgrade my PCM3.1 with the Carplay piggy back PCB solution that is available.
