After a long winter layoff with pumped up tyres and drip feed on battery..the cobwebs needed to be blown away and the new pimped up seats needed to be G tested
So off to Goodwood on FRIDAY 13TH [8|] , with additional challenge of a 98db noise test day [8|] [8|] .... followed straight away by Castle Combe ( 100db ) on Monday 16th March
Car went really well, that seductive early 911 wiggle on the sinuous fast flowing curves of Goodwood , and enough power to go quick enough up Avon Rise to make deceleration for Quarry turn at C C a stiff test of suspension and brakes .
Could have been quicker if the driver was as young as the car , there's still a bit more grip to exploit on the P6000's and the (race spec) 2.4S engine is just magical running up to 7500 - still to find when the limiter steps in [
] ...assuming its fitted .....honest mister noise man it only revs to 6000 where that bit of red sticky tape is.
NB length enhancement to the exhaust tip scavenged from Colin Beltons workshop bin - thanks Ninemeister !
Pictures below , the initiated should spot the Combe one !
