nearly there! need to bed in new brakes, but car on stands waiting for new oil pipe
and rain forecast ,with tyres scrubbed to 2 mm ....hmmm fingers crossed for sunshine!,
 
I've yet to graduate to trackday tyres but with potentially poor weather I don't think that's going to matter on the day. New pads and fluid are in though [:)]
 
ill be on road tyres too, whenever i take a second set of sticky tyres it rains, so have given up on them.
want to finish off this set before buying fresh boots for le mans trip.
 

Saturday 15th to Sunday 16th March - Junction 8 Bridge Demolition
  • The M1 will be closed in both directions between 20.00hrs on 15th March to 14.00hrs on 16th March 2008.
  • All M1 southbound traffic will be diverted off the M1 at J9 and diverted via A5183, B487, A414, A41, M25 J20, M25 J21A to M1 J6.
  • All M1 northbound traffic will be diverted off the M1 at J8 via A414 Breakspear Way, Green Lane Roundabout and return back onto M1 via J8 northbound entry slip road.
  • The A414 eastbound will be closed at Maylands Avenue roundabout to Green Lane roundabout. Traffic wishing to travel north on the M1 at J8 will be directed to M1 J9 via B487 and A5183.
  • Traffic wishing to travel south on the M1 will be directed via A41 to M25 J20, then M25 J21A and M1 J6.

home safe , lucky no one timed my laps but trip computer showed 240 kms so 150 miles round track and 24.8 litres/ 100kms so about 12mpg , good day out for most of us...
 
Yes good day out indeed. Nice to meet up with Keith and Rob for the first time. Lots of 964 and 964RS on the track today. Most of us no where near as quick as the kettles but we made up for it in good looks![8D]
