Hi All,
So my bank 1 chain tensioner seal looks to have gone as oil is slowly leaking out of the bolt so I have purchased new crush washers along with new seals for both banks.
I understand this is a risky job and that you have to lock the cranks to stop the chain from potentially skipping, so I have purchased the locking kit for locking at TDC and each crankshaft but it only came with one lock tool so I am wondering can you just lock one side do that tensioner and then do the other bank or do both banks have to be locked at the same time?
Last thing I wan to do is throw the timing by changing a couple of washers and seals!
Thanks for any help,
Rich
