Hi everyone, first post as a new member. Have been working on the front end of the 2003 c4s with the initial intention of replacing discs, pads and painting the calipers. But a number of other issues then raises it`s ugly head. My problem is concerning the rack. On removing both the rigid pipes i find on each end of the pipes there is a small plastic cup white in colour covering the flared end of the pipe with obviously a central fluid hole. These are cracked and not reusable so my question is, what is their purpose and are they necessary? Has anyone encountered this, guidance much appreciated, regards Martin.
