...has anyone bought any recently? I struggling to work out which hoses will fit: particularly aftermarket braided hoses. If anyone can say with certainty Goodridge kit will fit, then I will be extremely grateful (the boring bit: later 8 valve series 2 cars have a 944 part number, replacing the VW part numbered hoses found on early 944s and 924S/931 models: the calipers are the same - ATE 2 pot sliding. Goodridge's fitment list refers eroneously to S1 [1981-1988] and S2 [1989-]; where in reality series one and earlier series 2 cars use the same hose, with later series 2 cars using a different part)

Mine are the Goodridge 993 kit, Zentrum fitted them so I never saw the part no. but presumably the later cars need slightly longer hoses because the wheel offset puts the caliper slightly further away from the body.

Solution for those interested. Porsche added an external spring reinforcement to the '944#' 1987> part, which is otherwise interchangeable with the earlier '477' part. If you have a 1981-1987 car you can retro-fit the reinforced dearer part and likewise: if you have a 1988-1989 car you can retro-fit the cheaper early style part.
