1989 S2 Handbook!

I had a look on eBay a few days ago for an S2 handbook, as mine only came with the service book. I was shocked to find this one for a 1991 model going for £130! I expect that's why mine doesn't have one.

Are these available anywhere to print off, as there's no way I can pay that for a handbook.

Not that Im aware of. Ive only seen once decent copy of a series two manual on t'internet and this pre-dated the S2 model.

I can probably scan you one, I have a 1990 manual. Itll have to wait until my big scanner has been set up though.

That would be awesome, I'd happily pay you for materials!

I would also try gmund collection 0870 20 20 911 I have bought a 911 and 944 owners manual from Mike in the past, about £15 a go. The website seems to be down at the moment, but give Mike a ring, it is usually easier.

I have one for a 1990 model car you can have for £15. Reasonable nick and all complete. I have a complete folder for one with all books with a magnetic OEM Porsche leather wallet.

Crumbs. I have that original leather service book wallet that came with my S2 as well. And a "Drivers Manual", "The Guide to Porsche Assistance", "Porsche Service" (list of European dealers), "A Pocket Guide to Porsche Ownership", "Guarantee and Maintenance" (service history) and a "Warranty Link Policy". And a voucher entitling the first owner to a complimentary check at an OPC. And the first owner's PCGB membership letter. And a tan leather key-holder for the keys (apparently supplied with the car when new.) I think I have the original purchase invoice for the car as well, but can't seem to find it at the moment. That lot's probably worth more than the car!

Unfortunately my S2 was in limbo when the old owner died, and shoved in his daughters garage for a couple of years until she was persuaded to part with it. All of the documentation was left behind. I'd love to have a full set of documents though, thanks for telling me what the set contains!
