1969 911E Front suspention

Hi to all

I am preparing the front suspention assembly for painting and I was wondering what
finish is the colour of it ( gloss ,satin , mat.....) the struts are perfect but very glossy
are they correct or should they be the same colour as the rest of the suspention.

The suspension parts you are showing in your picture are usually painted in silk black. Wurth have a suitable product. Confusingly called Silk Gloss. I believe this or a similar product was used originally. However many restorers powder coat parts.
