13k turbo on eBay. Best in country ..... With rare sunroof optune !?

ORIGINAL: edh

I agree with all that mark - the back box in particular is horrible.

from what I've read about them previously, they have a good attention to detail in their service and maintenance work.

there is no accounting for taste.....I have the same back box....... £1300 worth....[:D][:D][:D]

I know it's old news and I don't want to sound like I am dredging up past glories, but talking about 944 turbo awareness, in 2010 when I did the Future classics race series so many people came up to my car( 88 turbo S) and some were truly shocked by its performance (you could see it in their face )against more "established" and valuable classics and thoroughbred single purpose lightweight race cars, also so many people came up to me and said what a fantastic underrated car the 944 turbo was.
My still road legal racecar (with electric windows and central locking and alarm) was built on a budget from a car that was a very humble example and it was giving 100k Aston Martin racecars a scare and purpose built 944 and 911 racecars a run for their money, these 944 turbos had and have tremendous performance and even with their recovering higher prices represent fantastic value for money, they deserve their moment in the sun because quite simply in the words of L'loreal because "they are worth it" [:D]
Also they have the honour (as Tony F reminds us!) of being the basis of the first official Porsche cup car![:)]

its nice to hear that, not surprising as the 944t is so capable.
Hope you wont mind if I point out that the impression was enhanced as you made a particularly good job of steering it IMO

Cheers for that, but to be honest the car did most of the work, very flattering track car.
Think it will be coming up for sale shortly and I bet the guy will be asking late teens or even a figure beginning with a 2.
These cars are really appreciated in Europe and values are better there I here,in the Nurburgring car park I came back and there was a group around my car and a bloke lying down next to it and looking underneath it.
There will be a point when our cars are appreciated in this country,XJS are climbing now even, all the dross is dying off this WILL happen to our cars.

That's nothing. Park it in a High Wycombe car park and the group would have gained entry and taken it for a test drive. [&:]

Looks like a lovely car mileage would not be a worry if the history is good and can be backed up, not keen on the colour of the interior but I like black on black rather than lighter shades, if I was in the market for one I would certainly pay them a visit and make an offer. Might actually sell a lot lower in the current climate and I think I would rather buy from them than the other place mentioned in this thread.

I think I would rather buy from them than the other place mentioned in this thread.

I think they should be referred to on the forum as "the scottish dealer" from this point onwards [:D]
