Had a phone call from the shop where my car's been undergoing it's surgery. They just got it back from the paint shop. Off to retake it's MOT. So I should be able to pick it up tomorrow, though i have a feeling i may be stuck in meetings all day. Will post photos of the before and after when I get it back...
 
Happy happy joy joy...

Picked it up from Ninex this afternoon. Very happy. It looks much better than I'd expected. Apparently the paint shop painted the rear quarter instead of just the area that had been worked on and made a very nice job of it. Looks nice. Was a good feeling driving it back!

They left it up on the lift so I could have a look underneath. Very pleased to see that the underside and the sills look pretty good. The area that was cut out and repaired was actually quite small.
 
They're going to email me a couple of the work before the paint. I'm now regretting not taking my proper camera and getting loads of every bit of the underside. I've got a couple from my iPhone. I'll post once i've resized them.
