Hi Everyone,
I've a Panny Turbo S 550HP in black. Sweet as a nut. I am thinking of replacing my brake pads with "yellow stuff" pads as apart from road I'd like to try some track work and theses pads have superior fade resistance. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has tried "yellow stuff" themselves and also what the general view is on moving away from the OEM pads please?
On another unrelated issue I'm using about 0.50 of a litre of oil each month. I'm not driving excessively hard. Just normal day to day. I can't find anything in the owners handbook as to what Porsche say is within acceptable limits. Looking at oil usage in the USA and following their forums it seems this is quite normal and in fact the level I'm at is well below what some are using!! I accept it's a finely tuned engine and a small amount of oil usage is to be expected. What do other Panny owners find with their cars?
