Hello, my name is Nick Westbrook, just joined the Club and live in Ashley Heath near Ringwood. I have always dreamt of owning a Porsche although until now have never dipped my toes into ownership. I currently run a Caterham R500 which I attend to keep but I hope it can share the garage with a GT3.

I spoke to Karl at Sherborne Classics show a couple of weeks ago about my search for a GT3. I would really like to get a passenger ride if a local member has a 997 GT3 although would also like to e experience a 991 GT3 as well as a comparison to see the difference between the two if at all possible?

Nick

Welcome to the club Nick, i hope your successful in your search, would be great to see you on the Sherborne stand next year in a GT3

Not a great response! it might be worth posting in the Wanted section if you’ve managed to narrow it down.

alternatively it might be worth posting if anyone knows the GT3 for sale in the GT3 section of the forum that you were interested in at JZM

Karl

Thanks Karl. Bit disappointed with the forums, they seem very quiet. Will do as you suggested to see if I get any response.

Cheers

Nick

I would not worry about a lot of owners if you look at adverts it is rare a 10+ year old car doesn't . Owners often only keep them for a year or so and then move on to something else it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the car. As long as it has proper service history and not had any significant over revs then don't worry. In the recent past with values going up as they were it encourages those who have always wanted a GT3 to buy knowing they won't loose money.
