Most people who own an old 944 aren’t going to daily them like a Golf R or the likes.

Different strokes for different folks though surely? I haven't kept my 944 Turbo because it is fast, I enjoy it because it is different and from a past time where cars were constructed differently.

But would you spend the £20-25k it would perhaps cost to buy it today. If I was 20 years younger, I wouldn't. And in another 10 years there will probably be even fewer buyers. Most of us here are likely in the fortunate position of having other cars to use every day.

Put blade7 in a 250 GTO and he'll say it's rubbish because it's slower than a shitbox like a Golf or Yaris. You'd have thought that this lowball mindset would have disappeared when the market finally realises today how good our cars actually are, but no. Thankfully most folks with this mindset can't afford a 944 turbo anymore these days.
