FINAL CALL For Entries

As in previous years, the R18 concours will be held in the morning on Sunday 17th May 2026 at Porsche Centre Preston.

Places are limited this year to 20 entrants, but spectators are also very welcome to come along and support the event. Please park your car as directed by the Marshalls, as space is limited.

All entrants (+1) will receive a breakfast voucher for food from the caterers and all other members will be able to purchase food from the outlet.

There are 3 classes: Cars under 10 years old, Cars over 10 years old and Visitors.

Prizes will be given to the Overall Winner, Winners and Runners up in each class, Members favourite and Dealer Principals Choice.

For your entry form please email pcgbconcours@yahoo.com

Rules will be sent to entrants on receipt of the entry form

Hi All.
As entrants to this years event are low, we have decided that the event this year is cancelled.

A special thanks to those members who had entered the event, who I have sadly had to inform them of the cancellation.

Hopefully we will get good support for the event, if held, next year.

We could have another Monthly Cars & Coffee event in addition to the ones we already have at:

Charity Farm, Wrightington
The Mill at St Catherines, Lostock Hall
Tour De Franks - Burscough
Bridge House Farm Tea Rooms, Wray
The Villa, Wray Green
Chung Ku, Liverpool

Dan, when do you expect another one to be fitted in and where? Suggestions of dates/days and venue would be appreciated

Hi David.

It wasn't an 'in addition to' it was more of a 'why waste the date and venue' suggestion.

I have suggested MACS Detailing Store in Leigh as a venue for a Cars and Coffee which was done, and quite well attended, last year.

HI Dan

The OPC was opening the doors for us to put on R18s premier event and they would have supported us with refreshments and prizes. That costs time and money.

We cannot expect them to open up and hang around while we all chat amongst ourselves.

I'm sure David would be happy for you to set up a C and C.

OK, why not promote this event here? I assume it is on the same date when Concours was running.

It was suggested last year. It's not on the same day and I'm not sure when the next date is. Like I said, it was an instead of idea. I think last years event held there was taken up by R5.
