I wish to purchase a set of four new tyres for my 968 Coupe. My normal supplier is unable to find four tyres of the same brand & type. I have looked online, but I also have not anything suitable. Two different sizes required: 225/45 ZR 17 (Front) and 255/40 ZR 17 (Rear). Any suggestions welcome

I'm running Goodyears in those sizes on mine, but they've been on for a while now, so I hope that they are still available.

Michelin are showing PS2's in those sizes.

Suggest call Costco and ask them to check if Michelin UK have them in stock and if not the expected re-stocking date

I have successfully bought a set of 4 new Michelin PS2's from Costco. They were super helpful. A great price too. Thank you for guiding me in their direction

Yokohama are available in those sizes - I'm in the same boat for my 944, but don't need the tyres until the spring.

I'm probably going with the Yokohama Advan V105 as you can get them in both sizes and they get good reviews.

You could also fit 245/40 on the rear which opens up availability a little more.

We were discussing this in the 944 subforum recently if you want to take a look, also came up on the 968 uk forum.

IMO PS2s are a very old design now and you are paying the Porsche tax on them too, PS4s were available for some time but are out of stock.
