Geo Set Up Advice

Hi all…. After a bit of advice if possible please!

I have a 2010 Cayman S on which I’ve recently fitted Bilstein B16 Damprontic coilovers, front / rear H&R anti roll bars and, polly bushed front / rear coffin arm’s followed by a geometry set up.

The car isn’t an all out track car but I do use it for some track days and trips to the Nurburgring, from where I’ve just returned.

The car drives pretty horribly if I’m honest! It feels like it wobbles / weaves around, I’ve had zero confidence in it… not enjoyed driving it at all!!

I’m totally not clued up on geo set ups, could the ‘wobble’ (not sure how else to describe it!) be down to set up?

Top mounts, forks etc were all also replaced when fitting the new suspension…. Thanks all!

I would suggest getting to Center Gravity, who will advise on all you need to know. It may not be cheap, but they have the expertise and will help you understand the issues. I can highly recommend them.

I’d also suggest you take it back to your specialist else find a new one - your location would help suggestions.

Off the top of my head, too much front toe, too little rear toe and I’d want better front/rear camber relationship.

Let us know how you get on
