Macan GTS tow bar

What are latest thoughts on fitting a tow bar to a Macan GTS .

In this specific case my March 24 version. I’ve seen stuff relating to Porsche extended warranty issues post 3 years with non OEM fittings but not sure I’m too concerned about that.

i would be looking to fit the most non invasive detachable version.

Anyone done it recently .
 
I had the same issue with a cayenne many years ago and agonised over the cost of a Porsche one and the potential issues with the wiring with an aftermarket one , I went with the one from Porsche and used my club discount to get the best price I could.
I assume you have priced a Porsche towbar ?
 
I have had a Porsche electricably deployable towbar fitted to my previous Cayenne and my current Macan, and would not revisit my decision in either case

Yes I was quoted approx £2600 for the electrically retractable version which according to Sheffield OPC is now the one that Porsche offer. Think I’m leaning towards that for peace of mind. Thanks for the reply.
 
I had the Porsche retractable one fitted with club discount to our 2018 Macan, very expensive for a towbar but i must say it’s a great towbar.
