Help with forecasting sale pricing

Evening all, a clear out ahead of a house move means I have for sale a full 944 turbo / 951 airbox and cold air intake pipe

Useless to me anymore so it needs a new home, struggling to figure out a decent price though so welcome thoughts. Only one I can really find at the moment is a brand new one on eBay for £500+ in Europe which feels a bit mad to me. Obviously they're NLA so I get they're gonna fetch a bit but what do you guys think is sensible?

It's difficult to say, it's not really a part that wears out per say, so the market is likely tiny. In 15 years of owning my turbo I've never needed one and never saw anyone needing one. Someone might need one, and then it's only worth what they will pay.

£500 + is bonkers, but it's NLA and new, so someone might pay that if they are trying to build a concourse example. In all likelihood it will stay for sale at that price for an eternity.

If it was me i'd stick it on ebay for £150 with best offer, and see what/if you get offered.

To me it's probably worth £100, but that's just me.

Worth noting I lucked out on an almost new and unused turbo AFM on ebay for £35 which I've tucked away for a rainy day and won't be selling. Porsche are £600+ exchange and £1k+ with no exchange. It was an auction with £35 starting bid, and nobody else bidded. Had someone else wanted that I'd have been happy to bid up to £200/£300.

So, best offer it for whatever price you think is fair. You might not get a bid for months, or you might, but won't cost anything to find out with free listings.

Who told you it was NLA?

It is still available from Porsche for £416.17, take 10% off that price if you are a Porsche Classic member or can wrangle a 10% discount for being a member of PCGB, takes it down to £374.55
 
Ah right, that's different to what I was told. Good info, thank you. Is that the top & bottom halves plus the intake pipe too?

The fixings do sometimes break on them but people looking for them are quite rare - plus lots of turbos are modded so they no longer need them reducing the market for them but also opening up the supply. Second the ebay proposal!
