Icon Engineering - part one

I met these gentlemen of Icon Engineering at our Brands Hatch Festival last year and was very impressed with their work. They have kindly put together their story.
 
10 years of lunacy
So where to start? Well, the catalyst to starting our project, which we now refer to as ‘10 years of lunacy’, was a certain race on 12 April 1970. I was 13, standing in the rain watching Pedro and Quick Vic leaving Druids sideways lap after lap and thought, I want one of those cars.
