Porsche unveiled the second generation model in mid-2016, so it’s not unreasonable to expect a brand new model sometime soon. Of course, we can’t be sure, but Porsche typically unveil a major model update every seven years with a mid-life update in-between. The original 970 first generation model was launched in 2009, seven years before the current 971, so will 2023 be the year the third generation is premiered? Truth is, we cannot say for sure.
