This month's news from your Cayenne Register

Hello and welcome to the Cayenne section of this month’s report.

Firstly, let me touch on last month’s editorial by Matt Masters on the latest facelift Cayenne. I know from feedback that some of you were as annoyed as I was about this latest PP article, as it didn’t exactly paint our cars in a very good light. That said, as much I feel Matt has the wrong idea about our cars, he is unfortunately entitled to his opinions.

Consequently, I’m sure some of you will be equally pleased to know I have written my own rather contradictory report and added quite a bit to it as to what I feel makes our cars are so good. I’m reliably informed that this is scheduled for a future issue; so watch this space for some of my views and opinions in my rather robust riposte to Matt’s controversial review of the new Cayenne.

A long wait but a change to a new Cayenne, spot the difference

In other news, I’m thrilled to report that some of our members who have been patiently waiting for their new Cayenne E-Hybrid models have eventually taken delivery, after several stop campaigns. If you’re one of them, please don’t forget to let us know what you like or dislike about your new car via email, on the Forum or on our Facebook Group.

Regarding upcoming events, some of you may have already spotted the Porsche up the Hill event in May. This year the Cayenne and Macan Registers have been offered exclusive SUV parking at this event. Please be aware, although we are told this area is close to the start line, apparently it will be on uneven ground, so may not appeal to everyone. Also, please note that this is only available for somewhere in the region of around 50 cars, so you’ll need to act quickly if you would like to be part of this Cayenne gathering. To find out more, check out the Club’s events pages.
