Welcome to the Cayenne Register

The Register covers all versions of the Cayenne, Porsche’s mid-size luxury SUV first introduced in 2002. As well as being an SUV and the first V8-engined Porsche since the 928 of the 80s and 90s, it was the first Porsche car to feature a Diesel powerplant as an engine option. The model has earned a reputation for excellent handling and performance both on and off road, with the 550 BHP Turbo S model capable of out performing most sports cars with its 4.7 second 0-62 MPH time. Today the Cayenne is the biggest selling car in the entire Porsche range, with 80,000 units sold worldwide in 2013.

The Cayenne's chassis type numbers - Type 955 (2002–2006), Type 957 (2007–2010) and Type 958 (2011 on) - cover a wide range of variants. These include the rare Cayenne S Transsyberia (a factory race prepared vehicle for the 2007 TransSyberia Rally) and the low-emission Hybrid models which combines a supercharged 3.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver 375bhp.

As well as being socially active, the Register provides valuable technical support and helpful advice for owners. By clicking on the appropriate links on this page, members can view the Register's Events Calendar or see what's been happening.
