Trip to Le Mans 24 Hours for the 100-year celebration
I have returned after a busy time at Le Mans 24 Hours’ 100-year celebration. We set off on at 4.20am on 6 June, three of us in the Cayenne with suitable stickers for Le Mans. We stooped for breakfast on our way south on the M6 at Hollies Truck Stop where some emergency repair work was carried out on the registration plate - now that plate was going nowhere. Arriving at Portsmouth, we spent the day exploring and enjoying the sights in the glorious sunshine. We stopped in a Travelodge near the port for the night.
