April news

This month's news from your Taycan Register

With the release of the new Taycan in February, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the updates. Have you already got your new order in, or has the plummeting depreciation put you off another one? Please feel free to start some conversations on our Facebook page or WhatsApp group.

If you’ve not already joined the Facebook group, just search Porsche Club GB Taycan Register. Or you can join the WhatsApp group using the accompanying QR code.

Chargeable or not?
One of our members has encountered an issue on whether Porsche Centres should be insisting on charging for flushing drainage holes during service schedules, saying that warranty will be void if they have issues in the future, if this work is not completed.

Is this a design fault that Porsche should address at no cost, or an acceptable additional charge to be added to service costs? Some Centres are quoting an additional £900 to clean these drainage lines.

I plan to take this up with Porsche UK on behalf of members, in the hope we can get clarity across the whole dealer network.

Again, if you have experience of this issue, we’d love to hear from you on social media, or by email.

Everrati
Our visit to Everrati proved really popular and places were filled within a couple of hours of the email being sent out to our Register.

I will try to organise a second visit later in the year for members that missed out, or were not available for the April date.

I hope you all enjoy the extra range and miles the warmer weather is starting to bring.
