How many Porsche drivers does it take to charge a Taycan?
There has to be a well thought out joke in there somewhere… but the actual answer is apparently four.
There were four Taycans trying to extract as many electrons as possible from the Aviemore Tesla (I know I shouldn’t swear) super-charger at about 5pm on 14 May after the Aberdeen/Perth Porsche Spring Drive Out. We all eventually managed to charge, to some degree, but it was frustrating with apps not working, deciding whether to plug-in before clicking ‘go’ on the app or after, and then one of us managed to draw just one kilowatt per hour, which would be about a two-day charge for any vaguely-meaningful mileage.
