Happy Christmas greetings to all 993 enthusiasts. With 2024 virtually upon us, I thought that I would like to start by thanking my team of 993 helpers (Christian Sanger, Geoff Crawford and David Wahi) plus all the other volunteers that have helped to keep the passion alive for our fabulous 993s. Your help and enthusiasm is much appreciated.
Looking forward, we have a number of events to look forward to.
Zooming in your 993
Our regular virtual meet-ups will continue through to the spring on the third Thursday of each month from 7.30 until 9pm. The dates for each call are 18 January, 15 February, 21 March and 18 April. An agenda will be sent out approximately two to three days before each call by email.
18-19 May Weekend of the Year Laon Classique
Though this event is now fully booked, I am running a reserve list, as people do drop out. If you missed the boat and would still like to come, then please email me. You may be pleasantly surprised.
RNLI Baton Challenge
Our challenge is now well underway and has progressed to the Solent. As soon as our weather improves, I would encourage all members to get involved. It is a great way if meeting new fellow 993 owners.
Trackday programme
And finally, the 2024 trackday programme will have been published by the time you are reading this with a few special pre ‘98 days available to exercise your pride and joy away from the busy public roads. These are great days and I will be hoping to attend as many of these in person as I can.
