Of interest the Porsche factory have initiated a restoration programme which this year includes to the best of my knowledge three 968 models which are in various stages of either being stripped or partially dismantled by main dealers sometimes in association with body repair specialists. I am aware of one in Tewkesbury,another in Cardiff and one in Guildford. My understanding these and one or two other front engine models will be readied for display Silverstone Classic July 2016..
Hopefully register members cars will be assembled adjacent to this display to co-ordinate cars of the period mid eighties to mid nineties. This will probably need updating as progress develops. Ken Coad
Most important the very same meeting will be th PCGB's main event spread over three days. Exhibitors associated with Porsche and factory presence will be happening in the same area like a Porsche village.
