A small group of us attended Simon Hadfield Motorsport 14th November near Shepshed Loughborough and had a real eye opener to the values of historic racers cars, we looked at a million pound E type racer, a trillion pound Ford GT 40 and many single seaters. As Simon said its only money when referring to keeping these Goodwood classsics up to speed for racing. How long will it last? A good question as long as wealthy folk can afford to go racing.
It used to be the same in Brooklands days only monied people went racing, and classic racing today echoes that scenario. However more support from the register would have been good meanwhile those who attended enjoyed themselves. Finally I keep being told 968's are rising in value, see Feb or March issue Classic and Sportscar feature on my car they test drove and seemed impressed
