Glorious Goodwood in July 2021
The transaxle event at Goodwood was the hottest day of this year so far, at 30.5 degrees on my digital dash, at least in Sussex. Working air-con was an absolute must. An original idea to combine 924 and 928 and 944 and 968 models into one day out, and it worked out well. Our group is now in touch for mutual contacts that can share the workload of new events, instead of trying to go it alone. We attracted 77 cars on the day and the feedback was that members had all enjoyed the ‘run out’. In the open air we still conformed to the COVID-19 restrictions, the next day, 19 July, having been slated as ‘Freedom Day’.
