Starting issues
For the last few months my SC was showing some starting issues.

Turning the key would not fire up the car from time to time and I would need to take the key out, reset the immobiliser and try again, with mixed results. The battery seemed to be fine (and is maintained on charger/conditioner) so I investigated a little further, checking the alarm/immobiliser, etc. and concluded that I would have to look into the ignition barrel and probably replace it. The car had to go into the body shop for some cosmetic work and when we came to put the battery back on and start it up, again nothing!
