As I write in late October, we’ve just enjoyed another fantastic weekend of action at Goodwood. Saturday at the 78th Member’s Meeting saw BTCC racer Sam Tordoff take to the track in his distinctive 1954 pre-A race car. Sam doesn’t hang about, and it was entertaining to watch him dice with much faster and more powerful machinery. The Sunday saw five 904s and four SWB 911s in action, and a well-deserved win for Oliver Bryant piloting a stunning 904 GTS in the Ronnie Hoare Trophy. A Porsche victory in a mixed-marque race at Goodwood is a true rarity – bravo!
