Saturday April 2nd we were once again at Phoenix Scalextric, Studley for our 3rd Annual event.
We had a record 20 members with everyone getting involved in racing and marshalling.
After a couple of practice laps we got down to the serious business of racing. Each competitor raced 6 heats using a different lane and car each time.
The Phoenix staff with their commentary made it very entertaining, thanks Jon.
The final was very close with the eventual winner, Peter Holden, 2nd was Richard Beamish who improved on 3rd palce in 2015, and 3rd was Brian Redden.
Once again a big thanks to Phoenix for a very entertaining afternoon, we will be back soon.
