Welsh Weekend - Anglesey Track Day

Anglesey Track Day

The day started early for the trip up to Anglesey race circuit where we would be taking part in the Porsche Track Day.

Kim, DJ, Tom and David got a garage and then signed on and had our do's and dont's track day briefing along with another 46 other like minded PCGB members.

To get us all acquainted with the track we had a 20 min session behind an instructor then after that it was an open pit lane which basically means you can go on and off the track as and when you please with a break for lunch.

We all had a great day and would like to thank Steve Kevlin for organising the day and if you think about doing a track day with the Porsche club whether you've got an old 944 or a new GT3 we would all recommend it.

The drive back to our Llandudno base was all good especially when we went through one of the long A55 tunnels and DJ came past us on full noise, awesome.

That night we had organised another R9 fish and chip supper at the Pebbles chip shop restaurant and 20 of our members joined us for a great night with a lovely fish and chips. Thanks to John, Marie and their staff for all their service and it was really good to have Brendan Daly join us.
